Steve Jobs had reported to expect a new Mac App store in 90 days 2 months ago. Now, Apple has been hassling developers to submit their apps, however, it is still unclear what benefits developers will receive for their apps.

Of course, anyone can develop their own app and send it to get it approved by Apple and make money off it. Whoever likes making apps or is interested in making one, do it, because Apple needs them!
As recently as this past summer, the iPhone 4 was the most desired smartphone on the market. In a survey conducted in June 2010, exactly 50% of the participants said that they wanted to buy the iPhone 4 once it was released. The Google Android took second place at 30%.

However, when a similar survey was conducted again in September, consumer preferences appeared to shift. Support for the Android had jumped to 37%, while the iPhone had plummeted to 38%. And it’s easy to see why!
All in all, the battle between the iPhone and the Android is coming down to which phone has more options. Which do you prefer?
Have you ever wanted to connect your iPod Touch 2G or iPhone 3G to your mac screen and have a better view?
1. Make sure your iPod Touch 2, iPod 3G or iPhone 3G is jailbroken*.
2. Download the app to your iPod/iPhone, for iPod Touch download the “ScreenSplitr” app and for iPhone download the “Display Recorder” app. To download these you can search on Cydia, which is found in your jailbroken iPod/iPhone.
3. Make sure your app is On and running on your device.
4. Go to plutinosoft.com/idemo and follow the instructions on there. Once you’ve done all that, then you should be able to use your device with your monitor.

*Before you get started your iPod touch/iPhone must be jailbroken. Search for how to jailbreak an apple device online. Don’t worry it’s legal to jailbreak an apple device, however, you will void your device warranty. It is not guaranteed jailbreaking will work, this is to be done at your own risk.

Yelp is going one step further an introducing a new version of the iPhone App. With the new version, users will have the opportunity to earn badges, these badges can be shared via the iPhone App, or sites such as facebook or twitter.
